Since its creation in 2008 , the R&D laboratory integrated into La Boite concept - CC LAB, has been developing multiple internationally patented audio technologies.
The "La Première" model, created and developed by Guillaume and Timothée Cagniard, is an all-in-one system with the silhouette of an arcade cabinet that embodies the vision of La Boite concept: high-end, custom-made speakers that are both all-in-one and stereophonic and adapted to contemporary uses.
In 2010, CC LAB developed the LD (first HiFi station for the computer) incorporating its Wide Sound® technology, enabling, through sound reflection, an expanded stereophony and the diffusion of a totally immersive sound through a compact and monobloc volume.
Thepatents for Wide sound integrated into the Cube model and Wide sound W will follow. In 2017, after 7 years of research, our laboratory unveiled theActive Pressure Reflex® (PR) technology, which offers an exceptionally wide spectrum reproduction thanks to the implementation in a hermetically sealed chamber of 2 speakers (including 1 internal woofer) controlled digitally.
In 2019, CC LAB launchesWide Sound 3.0 of its LX product, which allows an exceptionally wide and precise reproduction thanks to the intervention of 2 convex deflectors for listening without loss of directivity at the level of the highs, regardless of the position of the listener or the volume of the room.
Building on our expertise and experience in the audio field, our laboratory is also open to collaborations with other brands. We are able to design and manufacture custom products, from one-off pieces to series production, tailored to the specific needs of our partners. Our commitment to innovation and quality remains constant, regardless of the project's nature. CC LAB has thus created numerous projects with partners and clients, ranging from customizing speakers and turntables from our range to designing and creating entirely new products and technologies.
La Boite concept's heritage also includes the conviction that a quality product is created without compromise and that each component must be conceived and developed from A to Z. CC LAB La Boite concept pursues a constant R&D policy in its historical core business, the loudspeaker: each product is designed, developed and fine-tuned in- house in its laboratory in Soorts-Hossegor, in the Landes region.
This allows him to innovate every year by creating new high-performance products both for his brand La Boite concept and for other companies wishing to entrust him with their R&D and the manufacture of acoustic speakers.
