In 2009, and because he believes in total commitment, he gives his name to the design and interior architecture studio that he sets up and launches: “Stephan Lanez”.
Both the functional aspect and the history of the object fuel his resolutely contemporary creativity. His objects combine strong aesthetic value with a meticulous attention to practical perfection.
A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in furniture design, Stephan Lanez holds a postgraduate degree from ENSAD.
For eight years as artistic director of the contemporary rug publishing house "Chevalier édition", he collaborated with Red Edition, Perrouin, Verreum, Bilum, La Boite concept.
In 2021 he launched the new contemporary furniture brand "Principe".
Regarding LINES, Stéphan Lanez writes:
“Creating a new type of furniture for La Boite concept was an interesting challenge. And if this new piece of furniture could be offered in several variations, that would be even better!”
This is roughly the line of thinking that gave birth to this new product.
