Acoustic and modular

LINES is a modular unit, specially designed to house all your audio equipment while ensuring optimal listening. The design of LINES allows it to absorb vibrations and prevent edge effects. Suitable for all listening styles, the variety of your equipment, and your available space. Arranged horizontally or vertically; combined individually or in multiples, LINES offers endless possibilities: position and move the shelves as you wish to create a bookcase, TV stand, sideboard, column, coffee table, and more. LINES can also accommodate a collection of leather accessories (sold separately): record holder, valet tray, record sleeve.

Responsible

This piece of furniture, made in Europe, was developed using natural materials in a zero-plastic approach. The leather for its accessories comes from the family tannery of our partner Remy Carriat in the Basque Country.
The cable ties are made from our leather scraps.
The wood for the shelves comes from sustainably managed European forests.
The absorbent felt lining the shelves is made from natural French wool.

Acoustic optimization

Although particularly suited to the PR range speakers from La Boite concept and the SQUARE turntable, LINES can elegantly accommodate most small speakers, turntables and amplifiers.

To absorb vibrations, the metal structure is made of steel wire and each shelf is lined with wool felt. Leather cable ties, made from our leather scraps, conceal the cables that run along the steel structure.

Designer de la série AP et LINES

En 2009, et parce qu’il croit à l’engagement total, il donne son nom au studio de design et d’architecture d’intérieur qu’il installe et lance : « Stephan Lanez ». L’aspect fonctionnel autant que l’histoire de l’objet nourrissent sa créativité résolument contemporaine. Ses objets allient forte valeur esthétique et souci méticuleux de perfection pratique. Diplômé de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs en section design mobilier, Stephan Lanez est titulaire du post diplôme de l’ENSAD. Huit ans durant directeur artistique de la maison d’édition de tapis contemporain « Chevalier édition », il collabore avec Red Edition, Perrouin, Verreum, Bilum, La Boite concept. Il lance en 2021 la nouvelle marque de mobilier contemporain « Principe ». A propos de LINES Stéphan Lanez écrit : « Créer une nouvelle typologie de mobilier pour La Boite concept a été un challenge intéressant. Et si ce nouveau meuble pouvait se décliner en plusieurs variantes, ce serait encore mieux!? ». C’est à peu près la réflexion qui a donné naissance à ce nouveau produit.
